Lisa came to me with a concept she’d already run by several developers, only to be told that it couldn’t be done. I took one look and decided I’d relish the challenge.
Most sites break down into columns. This one respects both a vertical and horizontal rhythm, meaning it always presents in a 3×5 grid that beautifully showcases Lisa’s photos.
It adapts to any screen size and aspect ratio too, so it shows up just as clearly on an iPhone as it does on a 48-inch plasma.
When asked to create a fresh, spacious new website for HACT (The Housing Action Charity) Matthew and Andrew from Grenier knew that the complex information architecture inherent in the project was just outside of their in-house skill set.
With this in mind they contracted me to wrap Andrew’s attractive, multiple layout design around a WordPress theme that was able to effectively handle HACT’s elaborate data structure.
Shed wanted photos of their interior design work to be the focus of their new website. With this is mind, Mat Dolphin designed a cutting-edge layout where imagery takes center stage. This, along with a judicious use of visual effects, makes for a truly modern, impactful and compelling user experience for Shed’s web visitors.
Shed can throw any image they like at their new WordPress website knowing that it will be presented beautifully on any web browser, in any screen size under any aspect ratio.
Creating a fully functional WordPress theme from Mat Dolphin’s thoughtful, contemporary design was an exercise in both economy and efficiency.
Having websites pre-designed and pre-laid out (in .PSD Photoshop format) means I can keep my fees low and quickly produce pixel perfect websites to order.
580 Limited run successful pubs all over the country. Chas from UInteractive was asked to project manage the design and development of a WordPress theme suitable for multiple website deployment, and he chose me for the build.
Initially covering three new pubs, this WordPress theme is now ready to be deployed, for minimal cost, whenever a new (and suitable) venue is launched.
With elegant ‘lightbox’ image and video presentation, this stylish artist portfolio website delivers everything required (and no more) in a one page, thoughtful user experience. Nothing else was needed. The beauty is in the simplicity.
When Brendan called me he already had a clear understanding of his needs – a simple, clean and spacious website for his new Architecture practice.
Brendan gave a detailed brief and was involved with the design process at every stage. On time and on budget, this website makes the most of its assets with graceful image carousels and concise, digestible copy.
Nikhil asked me for the simplest possible web presence for his fine art MA video project. Ten videos on one page with as little clutter as possible.
Danny is a user experience architect who decided to share his passion for wine by starting a monthly wine tasting event. With this in mind, Danny asked me if I could make him an easy on the eye, spacious and light WordPress website to promote these events.
